Gulf Coast Reads: On the Same Page

Gulf Coast Reads: On the Same Page is a one book, one community initiative happening during the month of October. This year, the greater Houston and surrounding communities will be reading the book The Dog Stars by Peter Heller. This book depicts the story of a pilot who has survived a flu that kills everyone he knows. A random radio transmission ignites a hope deep inside him, but what he encounters is both better and worse than anything he could have imagined.
